I met Brittany and Joe last winter and I remember that day so well. Brit reached out to me after meeting me at the Phila Bridal Expo and she wanted to have a consultation to see if we would be a good fit for each other. I was so excited :) I remember leving our first meeting feeling like I just had coffee with two of my closest friends.
What really stood out to me was how much they wanted to make their wedding photos a priority. I know most wedding days are frantic and sometimes I don’t have as much time as I’d like with the bride and groom — but Brittany and Joe MADE TIME. In fact, they rented a party bus for me and the bridal party to ride down to Philly after the church ceremony. We had about 2 1/2 hours for portraits! YESSS! We went to the Art Museum, Broad Street, and Rittenhouse Square :) The bus was stocked with snacks and ‘adult’ beverages which made the afternoon even better! I may or may not have had a few sips of champagne….I had to, right?!
Brittany thought of so many creative details too — from the polkadotted groomsmens socks to the personalized burlap bags for the gals. Everything coordinated and complimented each other so well. They even had their own hashtags for Instagram: #bjforever #betterthankimye
One thing I tell all potential clients is that I try to capture natural images and I truly believe the best way to do that is totally emersing yourself in the day and becoming the brides friend! Welp, that’s EXACTLY what happened with Brittany and Joe! I left there wedding knowing their images would reflect who they are as a couple and I was so happy!
Here are a few of my favorite images from their big day — enjoy!!
