Mary Lynn and Josh’s Barn on Bridge wedding in Collegeville, Pennsylvania was so wonderful because I have known Mary Lynn since high school! She reached out to me last year inquiring about photography and I was thrilled when she asked me to celebrate with her and Josh on their special day. Mary Lynn was so organized and laid-back during the entire wedding planning process which allowed her to thoroughly enjoy the day. These two met while attending Kutztown University (see their engagement photos here!) and their love continued many years after graduation and now they’re homeowners and husband and wife! It was so great seeing how natural they were together. I barely had to “pose” them because they were just so happy to be married!
The Barn on Bridge is a great rustic wedding venue outside of Philadelphia and it was the perfect backdrop for Mary Lynn and Josh to tie the knot. They have a cute bridal suite onsite that is in a separate building than the reception space, so the girls were able to freshen up after photos with ease! The ceremony location was on the front lawn which made it easy for the guests to transition to cocktail hour! Another interesting feature is that they encourage couples to have their first dance up on the second floor of the reception space. Everyone can watch them as they dance under the twinkle lights – so cute! In addition, the Barn on Bridge offers many locations for portraits. Mary Lynn, Josh and the entire bridal party walked across the street to a nice shaded area for pictures and they were so sweet about walking in the heat! It was really hot on their wedding day, but everyone was extremely patient throughout portrait time! I was very grateful for that :)
All in all, Mary Lynn and Josh’s Barn on Bridge wedding was perfect! Here are some of my favorite images from their special day:
