Classic industrial with a modern touch of elegance defines style at the Phoenixville Foundry, a full-service wedding venue set just off the Schuylkill River. With three transformative indoor event spaces along with three naturally gorgeous outdoor options, the Foundry can truly create a dream day for any couple and up to 275 guests. Couples looking for a day entirely tailored to their desires while surrounded by the beauty of history need not search any further for the perfect venue.
One of the most appealing features of the Phoenixville Foundry are the catering options. As the in-house caterer, J. Scott Catering offers true farm-to-table cuisine customized for the different wedding packages. They use only fresh ingredients and create one-of-a-kind wedding menus with their talented culinary staff. Couples can collaborate with the staff to plan exactly what they’d like for their big day.
The Foundry offers wedding pricing dependent on the season, so couples can discuss rates for off season, regular season, and peak season. The rental fee depends on the season, day, and guest count. The good news is that they don’t have a minimum guest count, ideal for small weddings, but can also accommodate larger weddings up to 275 guests. On the day of the wedding, couples have access to the event space 2-3 hours prior to the start of their event and receptions can last 5 hours, 5.5 if the ceremony is hosted at the Foundry as well.
Built in 1882, Phoenixville Foundry is one of the oldest standing structures in the area. It was originally opened as the Phoenix Iron and Steel Company, and eventually transformed into several dramatic event spaces. With 18,000 square feet of entirely neutral space available, the possibilities are truly endless.
Phoenixville Foundry is a full-service venue, which means that you don’t have a single thing to worry about from start to finish. Designers provided by the venue encourage their clients to be as creative as possible, leaving no doubt that every dream will be fulfilled for each couple’s big day! A few things included with rental of the Foundry are full event production including lights, sound and CAD plans, a live facility manager during the wedding, directional parking attendants, all furniture and linen rentals, and a catering package. A BYO alcohol option sweetens the deal as well.
Phoenix Column Truss Bridge – Most often used as the backdrop for a couple’s first look, the Phoenix Column Truss Bridge boasts pure romance. The rustic bridge crosses French Creek and offers stunning photo opportunities in both daylight and while backlit with the evening stars.
Sculpture Garden and Pavilion – The art of a once booming steel industry shows off with wrought iron columns surrounding an intricate outdoor pavilion, the most popular ceremony space at the Foundry. For added reception fun, a cigar and whiskey bar can be set up in this space at night, where guests can enjoy beautiful weather and landscaping.
West Wing Ballroom and West Patio – For an intimate feel while accommodating up to 275 guests, couples can opt to use the West Wing Ballroom for their ceremony and/or reception. High open ceilings and 3,000 square feet of space provide plenty of room for creativity to blossom. Windows surround the West Wing Ballroom, and each is adorned with elegant curtains for lighting control. An added bonus to the already incredible ballroom is the inclusion of a separate entrance into the room by way of the West Patio. The Patio serves as an option for outdoor entertainment in conjunction with the West Wing Ballroom or by itself.
Cupola Ballroom – Phoenixville Foundry’s main ballroom is the Cupola Ballroom and Mezzanine, which can accommodate up to 160 guest seated in 8100 square feet of space. The ballroom boasts a grand foyer, chic chandeliers, and a mezzanine beneath its 60’ open ceilings. With the help of on site staff, this space can be transformed into any playful, elegant, romantic, or wild dream. The built-in 24’ by 32’ dance floor ensures fun for everyone. This space can also accommodate a live band!
Mezzanine – Located at the top of the Cupola Ballroom’s elegant staircase, the Mezzanine contains a hospitality suite where the wedding party can get prepared for the day ahead. The mezzanine also offers spectacular views for photos.
Heritage Center – For couples looking to keep their big day quite intimate, the history filled Heritage Center offers 1500 square feet of space suited for entertaining up to 30 guests. Historic artifacts of the location’s industrial legacy displayed throughout this room really show off a grand antiquity possessed by the Foundry.
