Shannon and Dave’s Ryland Inn wedding was both romantic and emotional as they tied the knot almost ten years after their love story began. These two met while studying at the University of Delaware and they are still as madly in love with each other as the first day they met! I met Shannon and Dave last year at a coffee shop in Hoboken and one distinct thing stood out to me about this couple: their love for each other was the guiding force that helped them overcome some tough life events. They experienced a tragic apartment fire and lost almost everything. As I was listening to their story, I was honored that they opened up to me immediately about this powerful life event. At that point, I knew Shannon and Dave were some of the strongest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! Love means something to them in a way that I cannot put into words.

The Ryland Inn was the perfect location for Shannon and Dave to start their journey as husband and wife. The luxurious event space complemented Shannon’s flawless style and the staff was a joy to work with! One of the groomsmen gave the future Mr and Mrs the most amazing gift I’ve ever seen – a painting from the Party Painter! Never heard of him? Me either… until this wedding! I saw Martin setting up his canvas and easel in the corner of the room and saw the reception come to life with each brush stroke. He captured the energy of the night so well and I know Shannon and Dave will hang that painting on the wall of their home and remember their wedding for years to come.

All in all, Shannon and Dave’s Ryland Inn wedding will always stick out in my mind as being full of so much genuine love and happiness!
