I had been looking forward to Tom and Christen’s Merion Cricket Club wedding all summer and it was worth the wait! These two met and fell in love in sunny California and came back to the East Coast to put down some roots. Tom and Christen are really passionate about rowing crew, so Boathouse Row in Philadelphia was the perfect spot for their engagement session a few months ago. They included subtle rowing details in their wedding decor too! It was so great. Even their chair signs read “Starboard” and “Port”… how cute is that?
One thing I noticed about Christen and Tom is that they look at each other with so much love and kindness. Christen rocked her Pronovias wedding dress accompanied with gold Manolo Blahnik shoes. I mean, does it get any better than that?
After saying “I do” and walking out of the church, Tom and Christen hopped into Tom’s father’s 1964 Ford Mustang and we drove around the block a few times for a few photos. It was definitely a first for me, that’s for sure :) I sat on the back of the car, held on and prayed that I wouldn’t fall! It was amazing.
I am so thankful the universe brought Tom, Christen and I together. Serving them on their wedding day was such an honor and I can’t wait to see what adventures they go on next as husband and wife! Here are some of my favorites:
