Emily and Nate’s Cork Factory Hotel wedding in Lancaster was nothing short of emotional, FUN, and unforgettable. I met these two cuties a few years ago in Florida while I was shooting another CMP couple’s wedding (shoutout to Amanda and Anthony)! When Nate finally popped the question I was thrilled when I received an email from Emily asking to meet for coffee to chat about her wedding and photography!! I met Emily and her momma and it felt like I had known her for years. We ended the meeting with a big hug and I think we both started tearing up – and that is when I knew we would get along great!
This Lancaster wedding venue is tucked away in an industrial area of the city. The rooms and suites offer a cozy backdrop for brides to get ready in and the brick is a wonderful backdrop to photograph all the pretty bridal details. The indoor ceremony space is very big and has tons of large widows that allow natural light to shine through. Emily and Nate used Splints and Daisies as their florist and they installed hanging flowers over the area where they said “I Do”. It was a lovely addition! Also, there are a variety of locations for portraits. I naturally look for shaded areas to get soft, clean light and the Cork Factory Hotel offered many locations that allowed the industrial setting to be a good backdrop.
Their ceremony was so unique — they even incorporated beer into it!! Emily’s beer was Blue Moon and Nate’s was Guiness. They mixed the two beers together and drank them as one. It made their ceremony a little extra special and everyone loved it. The entire bridal party was so great to work with and their families were so gracious throughout the entire day. Emily was such a laid-back bride and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of her special day!
